MARSEC ADaPt Presented at AAPA
NMLEA

The American Association of Port Authorities Annual Conference was a huge success in Orlando, with over 600 attendees, multiple exhibitors, and dozens of networking opportunities. The NMLEA Executive Director, Mark DuPont, presented a talk on the Maritime Security Accreditation and Digitization Program (MARSEC ADaPt), and met with a number of port representatives in some one-on-one time to explain the program and its benefits to them, and to the Nation. "This program can bring every port in America into the digital age, beginning with a Digital Twin or three-dimensional model of their port and implementing a cybersecurity maturity model – while at the same time directly saving them money in critical areas like vulnerability assessments, training, table top exercises, cyber, insurance and security," said DuPont. "As Port Tampa completes their implementation and accreditation," he commented, "the question is who is going to be the next port to rise to this level?"
