Many high school students intend to major in a STEM field in college, but most of them won't be able to handle the rigorous courses they'll need to earn a degree in science, technology, engineering and math.
That's the conclusion of a new report by ACT, the testing giant. The organization's study suggests that only 26 percent of high school seniors who expressed an interest in STEM fields are academically ready for tough first-year STEM classes in college.

Scientific journals play a number of crucial roles in developing scientific careers, providing researchers the opportunities both to publish their work and to gain professional recognition by serving as editors and reviewers. You nailed your interview. You answered "tell me about yourself" perfectly, discussed your relevant experience with ease, and established a great rapport with the hiring manager.
And you know you read it right when you hear you made it to the next round of the process. But after all of the excitement, you start to wonder what on Earth you have left to talk about. Should you just repeat what you've already said? Or, is the hiring manager looking for something new?
