TRIA and Congress: Will it be renewed by year's end?
It will be November before Congress acts on the renewal of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act. If it acts at all.
And the words acts at all are the key to the last sentence and a big worry to insurers, insurance associations and the people of major metropolitan areas and to those with new building projects and commercial entities at risk.
TRIA ISIS and Boston
The U.S. is now at war with ISIS. President Barack Obama has authorized military action and attacks have happened in Iraq and Syria and more will happen in the future. "I have made it clear that we will hunt down terrorists who threaten our country, wherever they are. This is a core principle of my presidency: If you threaten America, you will find no safe haven," Obama said.

Are your mobile apps secure? Probably not
With all the fuss being made these days about cyberbreaches and the theft of identification, we're all getting a little paranoid. While we worry about what's happening with big firms, like Home Depot and Target, and with records stored by our medical and health care providers, we aren't too focused on what we have on our phones and other mobile devices.
