MarketWatch
Winnebago Industries Inc. was named to the "Mid-Market Elite" list by Chief Executive magazine. The publication identified 100 top performers among 197,000 public and private middle-market companies that "stand out amid the middle-market universe, outpace their industry peers, exceed expectations and create value in unusual if not unique ways." Social media help lead police to stolen travel trailer
The Mail Tribune
After posting surveillance photos of a man allegedly stealing a travel trailer to Facebook and Twitter, Medford, OR, police got a steady stream of tips that helped them track down the suspected thieves. Within an hour of the posting, callers were reporting sightings of the stolen trailer at various locations, and police apprehended the suspects within 24 hours of the crime. Investigators say social media and citizen involvement are becoming increasingly helpful in cracking cases. "It's instant — we get the surveillance pics, upload them, hit send and then everybody sees what we see. It's the ultimate crime fighter," says Medford police lieutenant Mike Budreau.
