Automakers agree on uniform towing capacity tests
USA Today
Chrysler, Ford, General Motors and Nissan all plan to join Toyota in using a uniform, independent test for the towing claims they make for their full-size pickups. Towing capacity — the weight a vehicle can safely haul on a trailer — is one of the most important performance figures for pickups. "People buy pickups to tow and haul," says Bob Hegbloom, head of Chrysler's Ram trucks. "These vehicles are tools. Yosemite National Park plan caps visitors, includes recreational activities
Newsday
Yosemite National Park will cap visitors at current levels in its most popular areas, but it will add campsites and maintain bike and raft rentals under a plan to protect the river that runs through its heart. The number of visitors to Yosemite Valley will be limited to 18,710 a day and 21,000 visitors a day during peak times — similar to traffic seen in the past several years. Once capacity is reached, cars will be turned away and directed to other sections of the park.

Enhancing your RV with a storm door
By John Bos
Most recreational vehicle units are manufactured with an external door and an internal screen door. These doors are usually very dark and do not allow you to see outside. To solve this problem, we have added a storm door to our RV made of plexiglass surrounded by a wooden frame. We can have the air conditioner going and have all the light coming through our screen door without losing our cool. We can also operate the furnace and still have the outside views.
