Alaskan trip of a lifetime made perfect with proper planning
By Laura Weaver
One of our very first experiences in RVing, as well as one of our most memorable, was traveling to Alaska. Each day of travel brought experiences we had never encountered before — unobstructed views of breathtakingly beautiful landscape, the sight of wildlife in its natural habitat and the realization that we had finally undertaken our trip of a lifetime. It's very advantageous, before embarking on such a journey, to research and plan your trip thoroughly.

Camping in an RV lets you see the nation
The Gazette
Four years ago, Bill Turner came home from his job as a bank CFO and announced to his wife that he was tired of sitting at a desk crunching numbers. How did she feel about early retirement and full-time RVing? Jennifer Turner wasn't completely sold on the idea, but the couple nonetheless sold their house, gave away their belongings, and took to the road. "We've gone from being a teacher and bank CFO to working at camps," Jennifer Turner says. "It's fun to learn new things and stretch yourself. I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would and am not missing the things I gave up at all."

In fact, employers who are actively hiring say that finding good people is as hard as ever and possibly harder — economic uncertainty has made many potential candidates wary about leaving their current positions.
