The Elkhart Truth
For the first time this year, the monthly total of RV shipments dropped, partially reflecting seasonal changes in the industry, says RVIA Director of Media Relations Kevin Broom. Shipments of new RVs tend to peak around March and April, then drop off in the summer. The total number of RVs shipped this year is still 6 percent above last year’s total, and RVIA expects the industry to end the year with shipments 4 to 5 percent above 2014.
