RVDA convention hotel alert
RVDA
Operators from an outfit called Exhibitor Services have been calling companies that are exhibiting at the 2014 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo and pressuring them to book hotel rooms through them. The callers claim that RVDA's room block at Bally's is full and that exhibitors need to book their rooms at the Paris hotel immediately. This information is false. To reserve rooms at either Bally's or Paris, all convention attendees should go to the link with this story, or call (800) 358-8777 and use code SBRVD4.

New life and style for a 1976 Airstream
houzz.com
Unlike many Airstream renovators who choose a retro look with café curtains and built-in everything, Jordan Menzel went for a minimalist vibe when he rehabbed his vintage 29-foot Ambassador trailer. First, the man who "loathes décor" tore out everything — the shag carpet, the wall paper, the curtains, the built-ins. Then he installed sleek, hardwood flooring, modern appliances, and a freestanding couch. The modern, clutter-free space is now "more like a studio apartment and less like an RV," says Menzel, who calls the Airstream home.
