RV sales surge in Michigan
The Detroit News
Sales of RVs in Michigan through May this year are up strongly over a pretty good 2012 at the state's 90 dealerships. Michigan dealers sold 5,142 towable RVs, by far the most popular type, or about 2.3 percent more than a year ago, according to the Michigan Association of Recreation Vehicles and Campgrounds. WSBT-TV
To put current RV shipment numbers in perspective, you need look only to 2009, the worst year for the RV industry since 1982, with just 165,700 units shipped. RV shipment numbers have gone up each year since 2009, with this past June the 18th straight month that shipments beat the same month of the previous year. Shipment numbers through the first six months of this year are already substantially greater than all of recession-affected 2009.

Hooking and unhooking utilities
By Ronald E. Jones

However, there's a correct and, most importantly, safe sequence to do this. The good news is that it's also the most efficient.
