Marion Star
This summer, more families seem to be gassing up the RV than ever. Ryan Meeks, sales manager at Craig Smith RV Center in Galion, OH, said RV sales are up from last year. "We're off to a very good start," he said. "I think a lot of it is due to the improvement in the economy — people having more confidence and people starting to spend money on things they really enjoy."

Escape routes crucial to safe RV adventures
Edmonton Journal via The Montreal Gazette
Wherever you park your RV for your adventure, plan ahead for safety's sake. Search your maps for alternate escape routes. Make sure that the alternate routes aren't dead ends and are traversable with an RV. Many, if not most, of the out-of-the-way places in mountainous areas where you will want to explore on your RVing adventures have only one significant way in and one way out. Want to visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon where there have been massive forest fires? It's at the end of a single long road, Highway 64.
