Wall Street Journal Business World Columnist Holman Jenkins Jr. is highly critical of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s latest attempt to prove "disparate impact" discrimination on the part of auto lenders. Jenkins claims that if the bureau succeeds, it will "end competition ... and prices will go up."

There's a chance to double the impact of your contribution when you make a donation to the Mike Molino RV Learning Center during this holiday season. Pleasureland RV Centers, headquartered in St. Cloud, MN, announced this week that it will match the next $10,000 in donations. "Pleasureland is pleased to support the RV Learning Center and use our contribution to leverage even greater support, so together we can do even more," said Dan Pearson of Pleasureland RV Centers and vice chairman of the RV Learning Center Board of Directors.

RV bloggers appeal to customers, retailers

Social media sites that feature personal stories about RVing and RV products are proving to be immensely popular and a good way to spread the RV industry's message. For example, Linda and Howard Payne, full-time RVers who blog about their travels, say their forum gets 500,000 page views a month. That kind of personal element allows social media to promote the industry beyond what print and broadcast ads can achieve, says RVIA's James Ashurst.

Entry fees to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks set to double

A National Park Service proposal to double the cost of entering Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks in northwest Wyoming is drawing resistance from the town of Jackson, fishing guides, and wildlife safari companies, who say it would price some people out. Supporters of the fee increase say the parks are still a good deal and that they need to raise their prices to make up budget shortfalls.

10 most popular US destinations for Facebook check-ins in 2014

Each year, Facebook lists the 10 destinations most frequently checked into by Facebook posters, and this year, national parks outnumbered sports stadiums. In 2013, four stadiums made the list, including Dodger Stadium, AT&T Park, Rangers Ballpark and Fenway Park. All were absent from this year's list and replaced with Yosemite, Grand Canyon, and Yellowstone National Parks.
