Bowlus travel trailer is so retro-cool it hurts
Wired
From Feb. 13: Think there's nothing better than a vintage Airstream, that old-school Twinkie-shaped camper that defines Americana? Think again. The Bowlus Road Chief is even cooler, and it's coming back. The original Road Chief dates to the 1930s and was created by Hawley Bowlus, the aviation designer who brought us the Spirit of St. Louis. Now a husband-and-wife team of tech entrepreneurs have bought the rights and patents and are launching an updated version. It's got a vintage vibe, but the inside is thoroughly modern with features like Wi-Fi and solar panels.

3 golden rules of negotiating
Entrepreneur
From Jan. 23: The art of negotiating escapes most of us, even good salespeople, because few correctly understand the word and follow the golden rules of negotiating. Scrap the notion that negotiating means lowering the price to reach an agreement. A lower price makes for less margin for you and your company. Your goal is to build value in your offer; the solution or service your product offers should be the focal point of negotiations, not its price.

Harvard Business Review

But practical experience — and now, scientific evidence — tell us that a better approach is to give workers their autonomy and provide high-level direction.
