The Jasper County Sheriff's Office has decided to end a manhunt for an ATV theft suspect who fled from a game warden on Thursday.
As of about 5:30 p.m. Thursday, the Jasper County Sheriff's Office had suspended the search for Jeremy Busby.
A JCSO official said they will follow any leads that develop. In addition, an arrest warrant has been issued for Busby.

Deputies were called to the 5600 block of Highland Road, just outside Santa Fe, around 3:50 p.m. Wednesday.
They say a man called to get help for his brother, who was attacked by three dogs.

Police departments should gauge the sentiment of the communities they serve before adopting new law enforcement technologies like unmanned aerial vehicles or artificial intelligence, speakers said at a session on 21st-century policing at the South by Southwest Conference in Austin.
The Boston Police Department, for instance, does not use drones because the technology has not yet earned the public's trust, said Paul Fitzgerald, the department's former intelligence and analysis chief.

Last week, the financial heavyweight announced it will stop bankrolling GEO Group and CoreCivic, the largest builders of private prisons. This is a direct result of an activist campaign involving a coalition of organizations, all opposing immigrant detention in private facilities. It is estimated that up to 70 percent of all immigrant detention facilities are private. These facilities have long been criticized for being largely unregulated — unlike state-run facilities.
