Bond was set at $250,000 Wednesday for a Central Texas man suspected of robbing the BBVA Compass Bank in Marlin armed with what turned out to be a realistic toy pistol or air gun.
Ronald James Bryant, 60, was arrested Tuesday evening at a home in Lott after investigators traced a vehicle caught on surveillance video to a home in Lott.
Falls County Sheriff Ricky Scaman had said earlier he was determined to find the man.

Nearly four years after Fort Bend County voters approved bonds to add law enforcement resources to the Katy area, plans for a new substation are are at a standstill because of a dispute between the sheriff and a county commissioner over the best location.
Discussions on the project have halted, and Precinct 3 Commissioner Andy Meyers said it's unlikely the topic will be reintroduced at upcoming commissioners' meetings. A previously offered donation of land is no longer being considered, but Meyers said he plans to secure another plot that could cost the county $1.75 million.

The San Patricio County Sheriff's Office and Department of Public Safety troopers were called to Highway 359 near Tynan, Texas, Thursday morning after a fatal two-vehicle collision.
It happened sometime after 10:30 a.m. Thursday near the San Patricio and Bee county line.
San Patricio County Sheriff Oscar Rivera said both drivers involved in the crash were killed.

Authorities in Brazoria County are seeking information about the burning of several beehives last weekend in which more than 500,000 bees were killed.
Early Saturday morning, just before 2 a.m., a deputy with the Brazoria County Sheriff's Office came across several burning bee boxes and beehives, a spokesperson for the department told PEOPLE. The deputy quickly extinguished the flames, but the damage had already been done.
