The death of a Memphis infant is being investigated as a murder.
It happened back on Thursday, November 7.
According to the Hall County Sheriff's Office, Kaytou Carney was found dead inside a trailer house at an RV park in Memphis.

The Smith County Sheriff's Office has released the identity of a suspect who was involved in a standoff in North Tyler Tuesday.
According to a press release from the Smith County Sheriff's Office, a Smith County Sheriff's K-9 Deputy initiated a traffic stop on a known felony suspect in the Econo-Lodge parking lot, located at 2631 WNW Loop 323, Tuesday afternoon in Tyler. Additional personnel with the Smith County Sheriff's Office and Texas Department of Public Safety were also on location at the time of the stop.

Concerns over air quality have prompted a voluntary evacuation order that was in effect Thursday for a Texas Gulf Coast city where a pair of chemical plant explosions occurred last week. Port Neches issued the voluntary order for its 50,000 residents late Wednesday after elevated levels of the chemical butadiene were detected. Jefferson County emergency management officials said the elevated levels did not pose a serious health risk, but could cause dizziness, nausea, headaches or irritation to the eyes and throat.
