What customers really think about car washes
Professional Carwashing & Detailing
As a business owner, do you ever wonder why it is people aren't visiting your carwash or detail center? Or, do you wonder what it is people like, or don't like about your services? Any kind of feedback, whether it's constructive criticism, straight-up praise or heated ire can make your business better. Yelp.com, which can often be your greatest friend, or worst enemy, can be helpful, but can also be interfused with false reviews, or one-time customers who were maybe just having a bad day.

Automotive technology is moving fast and the car is changing
Imagine driving a typical 1964 model vehicle on a time-travel trip at the speed of a decade per minute. As you go forward, the car is changing all around you. When you finish, this will no longer be your grandfather's ride. The changes of the past five decades have made the ride safer, more fuel efficient, more convenient, comfortable and entertaining for most of us in 2014. Once you're parked, take a deep breath and get ready for the next leg of your trip. There is a new generation of innovations on the way, the experts tell us.
Is this the end of the car wash?
What if there was a way to keep your car clean, all the time, without visiting a car wash? Nissan says this might be the next step in car design. The key is using super-hydrophobic paint, according to its April 24 press release. Right now, Nissan is experimenting with Ultra-Ever Dry created by UltraTech International. The paint is specially designed to be water- and oil-resistant. It even repels dirt, mud, dust and grit.
Avoiding vacuum adversities
Professional Carwashing & Detailing
As with any piece of carwash equipment, regular maintenance and efforts of preservation can pay off in dividends when it comes to your vacuums. A weakened vacuum can waste time, or frustrate a user, and a faulty vacuum can be costly if a repair or replacement part is needed. But, if you take the proper steps, you can make sure your vacuums are running efficiently and productively and not headed for a breakdown.
