OSHA asked us to share with you its new, updated Heat Illness Prevention Webpage (see, https://www.osha.gov/heat).
The webpage contains a lot of important information about heat stress, employer responsibilities, and valuable information all employees should know about heat illness.
It also includes a printable fact sheet and heat stress poster for distribution and a link to important NIOSHA guidance on heat injury prevention.

Matthews closes two express carwash deals in May

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Matthews Real Estate Investment Services, a commercial real estate investment services and technology firm, recently closed the sale of Jasper Express Car Wash and Clabough's Express Shine Car Wash, according to company press releases.
Jasper Express Car Wash, which is located in Jasper, Indiana, was purchased by ZIPS Car Wash.
The acquisition was handled by Associate Vice President Clay Smith and Senior Associate Beryl Grant.

ZIPS Car Wash moves into Savannah

PLANO, Texas — ZIPS Car Wash announced in a recent press release the acquisition of three express carwash sites from Mint Car Wash with locations in Savannah, Georgia.
These are the first sites to be owned and operated by ZIPS in Savannah.
ZIPS Car Wash currently operates 16 stores across Georgia.
"Our aggressive expansion in 2022 has brought to us significant growth across the northern half of Georgia," said Mike Corey, chief development officer, ZIPS Car Wash.

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — RealSource Group, a national commercial real estate brokerage company focused on retail, healthcare, automotive and education properties, announced in a press release the pre-sale of a new construction, single-tenant net-lease investment occupied by Mach-1 Express Car Wash.
Mach-1 is located at a new Publix grocery-anchored shopping center in Huntsville, Alabama. The sale price was $4.3 million.
