Why do site selection if you're not planning to relocate?
By Dale Willerton and Jeff Grandfield

Auto Laundry News
It has been a common practice in the detail business to pay employees "by the car." This means a certain price to detail the entire car, treating the employee like a subcontractor, paying no taxes, and providing no workmen's compensation insurance. The only reason operators have gotten away with these practices was because nobody was watching.

Strengthening El Nino could affect Colorado weather
KUSA-TV
It's a phenomenon that takes place thousands of miles away, but has the potential to cause heavy snow in Denver. Earlier this year, scientists predicted El Nino would be strong this year. That didn't happen right away, but it's picking up steam again. El Nino is a warming of the sea surface temperature in the Pacific Ocean, and along with it, a change in wind patterns and the jet stream. That usually means more moisture for the southern half of the United States, but in Colorado it could have other effects too.

Early Phoenix car washes kept business in the family
The Arizona Republic
The Dee-Luxe Car Wash from the 1976 film "Car Wash" might have been demolished, but the West Camelback Car Wash at 2550 W. Camelback Road in Phoenix still stands. Constructed in 1967, this car wash sports a series of eight red tailfin shapes similar to the Los Angeles car wash in the movie, minus the letters on the fins. Its architecture was sure to capture the attention of motorists at its location along the Black Canyon Freeway. Currently, the building is vacant.
