Papa's Car Wash saving water one car at a time

In a time when water is becoming our most valuable commodity and water restrictions are the norm rather than the exception, some businesses are trying to do their part to find a solution rather than contribute to the problem. Papa's Car Wash in New Braunfels is an example of one such business. Although car washing is not usually part of the water conversation, Papa's is looking to change that. Opened in May, Papa's Car Wash has gone above and beyond in their efforts to be a "green" business.

City seeks resolution to car wash issue

Representatives for the City of Greenville and the owner of a local car wash recently met to see if a settlement can be worked out concerning claims of excessive noise coming from the facility. "We're going to try and reach an amicable conclusion, so that the noise is no longer a concern and without getting into any more court battles," said City Attorney Daniel Ray.

New name for longtime Michigan car wash

After two and half years of bringing Bogie's Car Wash "up to par" owner Mike Rochowlak officially changed the name of the local car wash to Mikey's Car Wash. With new equipment and a new look, a new name seemed only fitting, according to Rochowlak. "We wanted to make sure we had everything going the way we wanted it before we did the final steps and put the name on it," said Rochowlak.
