The study, conducted by the PRA, found that hand-washing your car was the most damaging to paint work recording the highest scratch count, thus turning the "hand-wash is better" myth on its head.

The latest business to be recognized for completing Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certification is Screaming Eagle Express Car Wash. Screaming Eagle Car Wash provides a common service in a unique way that allows more than 80 percent of their water to be reused, said a news release. The two Screaming Eagle Car Wash facilities in Clarksville, Tenn., were built with savings to the environment and to the wallet in mind.

Surveillance video shows suspects in car wash murder
Police have released surveillance video and photos of two men wanted in a car wash murder over the weekend. Pablo Hernandez, 46, parked his 2007 Hummer in bay 6 of the car wash on Imperial Valley Drive Saturday around 8:30 p.m. He went inside a nearby washateria for change. Outside, cameras caught two men, believed to be in their 20s, wandering the parking lot.
