The evidence is mounting. Government performance has been adversely affected by budget cuts and deteriorating morale. The University of Michigan's American Customer Satisfaction Index for federal services has fallen for the second straight year. The overall score is now 64. For comparison, the U.S. Postal Service index is 72 and hospitals scored 76.

Travel Leaders' 2014 new business travel accounts top $234.4 million

Travel Leaders Corporate and Travel Leaders Associates franchisees reported some pretty dramatic figures for new business travel accounts won last year. Together, the two units of Travel Leaders Group captured new business travel accounts valued at $234.4 million last year — $62.5 million of which was won in the fourth quarter.
