Since 2010, according to an American Community Survey by demographer Wendell Cox, over one million people have moved to the Sunbelt mostly from the Northeast and Midwest. Any guesses for the states that have gained the most domestic migrants since 2010? The Sunbelt dominates the top three: Texas, Florida and Arizona. And who's losing the most people? Generally the states dearest to the current ruling class: New York, Illinois, California and New Jersey. More

In a federal discrimination complaint, the National Fair Housing Alliance and the North Texas Fair Housing Center, along with several other groups in various cities, say the bank has neglected its responsibility to maintain yards and houses. Bridgeland homebuilding about to ramp up

A new section of the Bridgeland master-planned community will have 1,000 lots ready for builders by the middle of this year. The homes are expected to range from $200,000 to more than $1 million, according to the Howard Hughes Corp., which manages Bridgeland as well as The Woodlands. The company said it just received a permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, allowing it to move forward developing 806 acres in the new neighborhood, called Hidden Creek. More
