Foss announces expansion plans

Foss Manufacturing, a maker of specialty fibers, nonwovens and needlepunch fabrics, is opening a $15 million, 220,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution operation in Rome, Ga. The Georgia facility will employ about 150 people in the first three years and will enable the company to more quickly deliver products to specific, regional customers that often have customized orders required to be delivered on a very tight deadline.
