Securing an Internship

Internships can play a critical role in building students’ skills and experience in their career field before they’ve even graduated. Internships also provide practical experience applying and interviewing for a job. But knowing where to look and how to stand out among the applicant pool to secure an internship can seem daunting for any student.

The American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) spoke to two student members about their recent experience with the internship process, from beginning the search to securing their internships. To help other students find similar internship success, they share their insights and tips.
