Security Technology Day Scheduled
A Security Technology Day is being organized by ACC, TSA and others on Friday, July 17 in Arlington, VA. This high-level event will provide an opportunity for the industry to be thoroughly briefed on a series of topics including TSA technology priorities, current spending plans and budget request for FY 2010, and TSA operations and support initiatives. Participants will gain meaningful information to help navigate the challenging complexities of security technology and related projects. It is being scheduled immediately following the ACC/FAA/TSA Summer Workshop Series at the same hotel, the Washington Reagan Airport Crowne Plaza. More

New Planning Course Scheduled; NEPA Course Also On Tap
ACC has teamed up with ACI-NA and the FAA to sponsor a new Airport Planning Redefined Course on Dec. 7-9, 2009 in Kansas City, MO. The course extends beyond the latest Master Plan advisory circular and tackles issues such as airport property use and revenue generation, planning for sustainability, facility flexibility, electronic mapping and safety risk assessments. The ACI-NA/ACC/FAA NEPA Workshop has also been scheduled for Dec. 9-10 in Kansas City. A joint session between planners and NEPA practitioners will be held on the morning of December 9.
