As you probably know, representatives of the American Lawyers Company travel the world, attending various shows, conferences, and association meetings where we speak with many interesting and knowledgeable people. Based on what we hear, it seems that the most relevant issues in our collection business are the extension of credit, government regulations and their legal consequences, and compliance issues which are the result of the economic pressures that have continued to impact the world economy since 2008. What do YOU think are the most pressing issues facing our industry today? I would sincerely like to hear your thoughts, ideas and opinions through our LinkedIn Discussion Group, The ALQ Forum.

Howard Goodman, Esquire
The creditor with a claim increases his chances of collecting on the claim if he follows certain routine procedures. A debtor is less inclined to assert a bogus defense and more inclined to pay the claim if the debtor knows that the creditor's claim can be proved with certainty. A Judge or jury is more inclined to award a judgment to a creditor who dots his "i's" and crosses his "t's" before and after the transaction.

The expert at anything was once a beginner.

What our clients have to say:
Once my firm became listed with ALQ, the response was immediate and impressive. In addition to the new clients, ALQ made a real difference in promoting the firm on a national level. ALQ remains the benchmark for law lists in the areas of service and quality claims.

— Todd Hancock, Esq., Prochaska Quinn & Ferraro P.C., Nashville, Tennessee

Millennium Collections has utilized the American Lawyers Quarterly law list almost exclusively since our formation in 1997. We have found the attorneys listed in ALQ to be knowledgeable and capable in the field of creditors’ rights, and their representation of our clients’ interests to be more than adequate. The service provided by ALQ is exceptional, and they have always been responsive to all of our needs. We unqualifiedly recommend ALQ to forwarders seeking a solution to their legal requirements.
