The ABA is introducing a video session at the 2020 Annual Meeting in Orlando entitled Burn Care: “How I Do It.” We invite all members of the burn care team to consider submitting a video demonstration of any aspect of caring for a burn patient. Interested? Review our FAQ page for more information.
The 2019 update to the NBR Research Dataset has been released with two different options for the research community. Visit our Burn Dataset webpage to review the criteria and submit your dataset request.

"There's no words to describe how much I love coming here," said camper Zoie Evens. St. Florian Miracle Burn camp is where burn victims can be themselves with others who have similar stories.
More than sixty burn victims ages 8 through 18 come each year and they don't pay a dime thanks to the St. Florian Fire and Burn Foundation.

Ohio State University's Medical Center is introducing a new treatment for burn victims that reduces pain and recovery time with spray-on skin tissue.
Doctor Ian Valerio of the Burn, Wound and Trauma program says surgeons take a postage stamp-size piece of skin and place it in a special solution, which breaks it down into its components.

Scientists have known for decades that electrical stimulation promotes healing of chronic wounds, such as diabetic ulcers and bedsores, but how it happens has been a mystery — until now.
