Reminder: PGO 2023 Registration Annual Dues are due in January 2023
PGO
A second notice reminding registrants of their annual dues was sent out via email this week. All PGO registrants need to know that:
1. PGO registrants received their 2023 fees invoice on Oct. 31, 2022.
2. 2023 Dues are due on Jan. 1, 2023.
3. The regulation stipulates a 15-day grace period ending on Jan. 15, 2023.
4. On Jan. 16, registrants in arrears will have their license to practise suspended.
5. Suspended registrants have until April 1, 2023 to renew their license but they will be required to pay their fees in full, pay a reinstatement fee of $183.75+HST, and provide their reasons for not paying their annual fees in accordance with O.Reg. 324/16.
6. Suspended registrants failing to renew their registration with PGO by April 1, 2023 will no longer be a PGO registrant and their registration will be revoked. In order to practise in Ontario, individuals will have to reapply to PGO, pay an application fee, and have their qualifications re-assessed. If qualified, they will still need to pay the 2023 dues. PGO strongly encourages its registrants to pay their 2023 dues on or before Jan. 15, 2023, at the latest.
