How would you like to connect with other content marketing writers who share similar niches or interests? You’ll have your chance when you volunteer to be a Snack Chat moderator during the month of August, when ASJA’s Virtual Conference will run its Content Marketing track.
We’re seeking moderators with content marketing writing experience in business, science, finance, social media, video/podcast scripts and lifestyle/food/travel.
Snack Chat Moderators are responsible for leading one online content marketing networking group on a specified Tuesday or Thursday in August. Moderators guide participants through introductions and encourage conversations about best practices and niche-related advice.
If you’ve ever attended a lunch breakout session at ASJA’s annual conference, you’re familiar with the role — Snack Chats have simply moved the gatherings online. Get creative, have fun and meet other members. Interested in participating? Email Katie Navarra and use Snack Chat in the subject line.

We all need a little help from our friends sometimes. ASJA established the Writers’ Emergency Assistance Fund (WEAF) in 1982 to help writers financially when they are unable to work due to illness, disability, a natural disaster or an extraordinary professional crisis. To date, WEAF has given more than $400,000 to more than 160 writers. Won’t you help ensure that this worthy endeavor can continue by making a tax-deductible contribution? Learn more here.
Consider A Lasting Contribution
By remembering ASJA in your will, you can help support our worthwhile organization and potentially reduce estate taxes. For further information, please email asjaoffice@asja.org.
