Survey: Employment on the rise among dealers and manufacturers

Employment trends took a positive turn among window and door manufacturers and dealers this year, according to the Window & Door Industry Pulse. Fifty-three percent of survey respondents increased their workforce in 2014, while 40 percent maintained their current staff. Only 7 percent of survey participants decreased their staff over the past 12 months.More

That's according to the National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index, which has builders' confidence up to a level of 58 points.
