Petco Foundation Invests $200,000
in Tri-City Animal Shelter
The Petco Foundation has awarded $200,000 to Tri-City Animal Shelter and its non-profit partner, Friends of Tri-City Animal Shelter. The Petco Foundation's investment will be utilized to help renovate the shelter's old building, located on the current animal shelter's campus, into a surgery suite and medical center. This new facility will be used to provide veterinary care to over 7,000 animals at Tri-City Animal Shelter each year.


  County Breaks Ground on Wintergreen Road Project

Dallas County along with the Cities of Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, and Dallas are partnering to improve Wintergreen Road from Main Street and Wintergreen Road intersection to 1300 feet east and Duncanville Road from intersection to 900 feet south in order to enhance mobility within the Cities of Cedar Hill, DeSoto, and Duncanville.
