Fourth Quarter Wash Volume Report
CCA
There is over a decade of data on the carwash industry generated by the Wash Volume Report (WVR), a members-only program of the Canadian Carwash Association (CCA). It was started in 2004 with 870 carwash locations across the country reporting quarterly to Kent Marketing Services Ltd., the research firm contracted to undertake the survey on behalf of the CCA. There are now more than 300 additional sites participating in the WVR.

The fourth quarter 2014 results have just been released, showing continued steady number of cycles (individual washes) for an average site. The seasonal trend continues with the first quarter, known in Canada as winter, being close to 50 per cent higher than the slowest period, that being summer.

More information on the WVR is available on the CCA website.More
