Brand new publication! "Healthy Teeth, Healthy Lives: Inuit Oral Health Action Plan 2013"
Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami
At 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami (ITK) officially launched the Inuit Oral Health Action Plan.

Currently, Inuit are suffering from oral disease at a rate two to three times higher than that of other Canadians. We look forward to working closely with you and our other oral health partners to change these statistics by advancing the eight Areas of Action and 39 recommended initiatives of the Action Plan. The Action Plan was produced collaboratively by Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami and the Inuit Non-Insured Health Benefits Working Group, with input from the Inuit Public Health Task Group and approval by the National Inuit Committee on Health.
