Old school is meeting the cool kids. Two of Chicago's top commercial banks, Wintrust Financial and PrivateBank & Trust, are plunging into the unfamiliar world of lending to technology upstarts. It's another sign that Chicago's tech scene really has arrived. Bankers, a conservative lot by nature, shy away from risk.
