Chicago-based insurance company Snapsheet has secured $28 million in Series E funding, according to company database Crunchbase, topping the city’s recent funding headlines. The cash infusion was announced May 20 and led by Tola Capital.

A new Urban Institute report looked at public, private and mission-driven investment in Chicago’s single-family, multifamily, commercial and industrial real estate from the years 2011 to 2017. The report’s conclusions? Money isn’t going where it’s needed.
