Bhandari, a professor of surgery of the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine, is a leader in intimate partner violence prevention. He has worked extensively to educate his colleagues on how to identify the physical signs and to support victims.More

Funding for extra orthopaedic surgeries

The Erie St. Clair Local Health Integration Network has provided $309,000 in one-time funding for an additional 117 orthopaedic surgeries in Chatham-Kent, Windsor and Sarnia. A total of 42 surgeries are being allotted to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, including 35 knees, four hips and three shoulder procedures.More
