Counselor Magazine
The following case study, although fictional, is illustrative of many substance-using women who become pregnant. Most substance-using women have a strong desire for a healthy child, but many are extremely socially disadvantaged and have no place to turn to help them reach their goals and human potential. They feel, often rightly, that society considers them the most reprehensible of social outcasts.

Study finds increase in number, severity of suicide-related calls to US Poison Control
EurekAlert!
Over-the-counter (OTC) analgesics like acetaminophen, ibuprofen, and acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) have long been a staple in households for managing pain, fevers, and other common ailments. However, the accessibility of these medications can make them easy to take in dangerous amounts. In a new study, researchers at the Center for Injury Research and Policy and the Central Ohio Poison Center at Nationwide Children's Hospital analyzed the 549,807 calls made to Poison Control Centers (PCCs) in the US for suicide-related cases involving OTC analgesics from 2000 through 2018 and found that both the overall number and rate of these cases increased significantly by 57% and 34%, respectively, during this period.

Cole Sprouse promises to 'be more active' on Instagram after 1-month 'mental health break'
US Magazine
He’s back. Cole Sprouse returned to Instagram one month after the Riverdale star said he was “falsely accused” of sexual assault via Twitter. In response to the allegations, Sprouse tweeted on June 21, “I take these accusations very seriously, and will be working with the right teams to get to the root of it. False accusations do tremendous damage to victims of actual assault. Furthermore, I would never seek to silence anybody. I encourage that people look into the accusations themselves, as the events detailed were factually untrue. This seems to be the latest claim in a series of incidents seeking to baselessly cancel my cast mates and me.”
