City launches green jobs-training program

Providence, R.I., Mayor David N. Cicilline announced that the city will launch the "Green Pathways Out of Poverty Partnership," a $3.1 million green jobs-training program for low-income, unemployed residents, after being one of only 38 organizations in the nation to earn a federal Department of Labor grant.
