The 4 unicorns of modern management
There are a few myths the contemporary management consulting crowd has championed in recent years. Forget the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. The belief in these happy beasts has grown within our organizations because well-intentioned experts have been trying to bring about massive social change by preaching a kinder, gentler form of management.

8 qualities of leaders who deliver value every day
Leadership is a means to create value for others through self-expression. How a leader shows up is everything as it sets the tone for others to either emulate or evade. Leaders should prioritize relationships over efficiency
Leadership Now
Efficiency always seems like the right answer. It's reflexive. Faster. Easier. Who doesn't want that? And yet while efficiency is critical and often a competitive advantage, it is a problem when it becomes a mindset that is applied to everything we do, when it becomes an excuse for our lack of real connection. Faster and easier is not always better. As leaders, we have to know the difference. Some things are better over time. There is no such thing as efficient leadership. If efficiency is digital, leadership is analog.

The pitfalls that make workplace conflicts worse
Great Leadership
Great leaders are not afraid of conflict. They put it to work. Conflict in an organization is a lot like fire. When it sparks, it can intensify, spread and lead to pain, loss and irreparable damage. It can distract, distance, derail and occasionally destroy opportunities and relationships. It makes most people anxious, and as a result it is often mishandled and made worse. But if managed well, conflict can work for you and your organization.
