What does Indiana's economy look like?

Backlash against the Indiana "religious freedom" law continues to grow. Across the country corporate and tech leaders have spoken out against the law they say could deter recruiting the best and the brightest. Examples of economic troubles related to the Indiana "religious freedom" law are already apparent, with Angie's List stopping plans for a $40-million expansion and organizations boycotting travel and business in the state. The NCAA, which hosts this year's Final Four conference in Indianapolis, has also spoken out against the legislation saying, "we are especially concerned about how this legislation could affect our student-athletes and employees." Indiana lawmakers back 3-year ban on building nursing homes

A three-year moratorium on construction of most new nursing homes around Indiana has been approved by state lawmakers. The state Senate voted 36-12 to give final approval to the bill, sending it to Gov. Mike Pence. House members voted recently by a narrow margin to support the proposal.More
