A Minnesota-based company has closed on a $14.3 million acquisition of an office building in Indianapolis. Cushman & Wakefield/Summit says College Park Plaza is designed for a company headquarters and is currently anchored by Republic Airways Holdings Inc.

Developer banking big on River Ridge

Commercial real estate developer America Place is acquiring more land at River Ridge Commerce Center in Jeffersonville. The company says heightened interest from employers looking to bring operations to the area led to the agreement to buy as much as 63 acres of additional land, including two million square feet of potential commercial space.

Wisconsin company buys Indianapolis building for $14 million

A historic building near Bankers Life Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis has been sold to an out-of-state property group. Wisconsin-based Hendricks Commercial Properties acquired the 1900s-era Century Building for nearly $14 million.

FAA takes big step toward allowing drones

The Federal Aviation Administration has proposed long-awaited rules that could give small commercial Unmanned Aerial Vehicles systems – more commonly referred to as "drones" – a lift off. The proposed rules limit the use of UAVs to those who receive certification for flying as well as includes guidance on the speed, height, and times of which they can be flown.
