Designed by fcSTUDIO, the spaces are defined by a palette of oranges and browns, paired with warm woods, leathers, brass, and bronze finishes.
The interiors of the bi-level venue are meant to feel relaxed and effortless, while also featuring the highest quality in materials and detailing.

BuckleyGrayYeoman has completed the refurbishment of the former Wickham's Department Store on the Mile End Road in London's East End, on behalf of Schroder UK Real Estate Fund. The completed space, known as Dept W, has restored the building to its former glory whilst creating a contemporary workspace-led, mixed-use development of nearly 110,000 square feet.
Dept W now provides 56,000 square feet of stripped back Category A workspace across three upper floors, which are complete with new outdoor roof terraces and planting on each level. A reception space, cafe, auditorium, meeting rooms, and gym sit on the ground floor and basement of the space.

Messana O’Rorke has designed a few Malin+Goetz shops, including locations on New York’s Madison Avenue and Elizabeth Street, and outposts in Santa Monica and downtown L.A. For their latest collaboration, a shop in Century City’s Westfield Mall, they wanted to go back to the beginning. “Our inspiration was the original store in Chelsea,” says co-founder and principal Brian Messana. “We wanted to create two distinct spaces in one, and specific areas for the product lines, which the Chelsea store successfully achieves.”

Dezeen
Wood-lined rooms, shaded corridors, and water walkways are just some of the features that Hilarchitects has incorporated into this meditation space in northeastern China. Located in the rural outskirts of Cangzhou, a city in Hebei province, the meditation hall has been designed by Hilarchitects to let visitors "dissociate from their regular rhythm of daily life." The meditation space was built in a row of six disused retail units that directly overlook sprawling wetlands. "The architectural strategy here was to diffuse the volume, divide spaces into continuous but circuitous public spaces without retrieving the original structure," explained the studio.

The renovations will capture the serenity of the hotel’s cliffside surroundings with a color palette inspired by the natural Mediterranean landscape.

The company has called the 15,000-square-foot, two-story building home since 2005, but has also grown to over 180 employees. Petco is tapping into a fast-growing segment of the $32.7 billion pet food and treats market: human-grade food.
The retailer has opened an upscale “pet food kitchen” at its recently remodeled flagship in Manhattan’s Union Square neighborhood where shoppers can purchase fresh, human-grade meals for their pets. Petco is launching the initiative with pet food company JustFoodForDogs, which has opened freestanding pet kitchens in California and Seattle, with additional sites under construction in Boston and Chicago.

Ovolo Group will launch its Mojo Nomad micro-hotel brand in Australia with the mid-2020 opening of the Mojo Nomad South Yarra in Melbourne. The hotel will be comprised of about 100 rooms, with a mix of shared and private rooms and suites. Australian-based Woods Bagot Architect and Sydney-based interior designers Luchetti Krelle are on board to collaborate on design that will focus on privacy, even in the shared spaces which will have privacy screens. Guest rooms and communal spaces will concentrate on arresting design and art, including in the cinema, library, gym, and residents’ lounge.
