Dexigner

Pantone has selected 17-5641 Emerald, a lively, radiant, lush green, as the Color of the Year for 2013. Most often associated with brilliant, precious gemstones, the perception of Emerald is sophisticated and luxurious. Since antiquity, this luminous, magnificent hue has been the color of beauty and new life in many cultures and religions. It's also the color of growth, renewal and prosperity — no other color conveys regeneration more than green.

But whatever the platform, there's something all these bits of software have in common. Every app has an icon.

Create a WordPress theme with underscores
Web Designer
Share

Underscores are a theme made by Automattic, the company behind WordPress itself. It's not intended to be a parent theme with which to base any number of child themes on. Instead, the whole point is to hack the code of underscore around to do your exact bidding. When you're building sites for a client in WordPress, part of the initial labor is in stripping out all the functionality you don't need from an existing theme. Underscores aim to provide the mere essentials, so you can get on with what makes your site unique.
