Mustard still rules, says JJ's Red Hots, but keep an eye out for a few surprising entries – including Pimento cheese, salsa and caramelized onions — among the Top Ten Hot Dog toppings this Fourth of July, the busiest Hot Dog Day of the Year. According to the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council, Americans will consume 150 million hot dogs on Independence Day.

Registration open and booths on sale for 2015 Concession & Hospitality Expo

Join the top food and beverage leaders at The International Concessions and Hospitality Marketplace. The Concession & Hospitality Expo will take place on July 21-24 at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati and the adjacent Duke Energy Convention Center and registration for the event is now open. We will extend the early registration discount for a while longer, but don't delay. Make sure you make your travel plans now. The 2015 Trade Show is at the Duke Energy Center right across the street from the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati and will be held on Wednesday, July 22 (1–4 p.m.) and Thursday, July 23 (2–4 p.m.) and is open to full and tabletop displays. Visit our Expo page on www.naconline.org and click the Trade Show tab to see a list of companies already signed up for the show and a link to their websites. Any requests for rooms after June 30 may not be met.

Disney World sells out of poop-shaped candy

Those who wanted to try the poop shaped candy at Disney World are you know what out of luck. Disney World announced its latest treat would be in the form of poop and sold at new Zuri's Sweets Shop for $3.99. The creation was named after the animals they're based on: elephant (chocolate peanut butter fudge with oats and coconut flakes); hippo (fudge caramel brownie with oats and peanut butter); giraffe (pellets of chocolate fudge with caramel) and cotton-top tamarin (chocolate-covered pretzel pearls).
