The contest seeks to find a sentence or phrase that accurately and succinctly captures the essence of the Association, its members and value relevant in today's industry environment. The Committee has carefully reviewed the submissions and has selected these finalists to be voted on by the members of NAC. Voting will be done exclusively using the SurveyMe App. NAC and SurveyMe are partnering to enhance the experience for attendees of the Expo. However, you do not have to be present at the Expo and can download the App right now to vote. Click here for more information on how to download the SurveyMe App and vote!

Sports venues are leaving money on the table due to long concession lines that scare away fans, according to new research from Oracle.
The software giant released a survey showing 45 percent of sports fans have abandoned concession lines at least once in the last year because the wait was too long. It's an issue that ticket buyers desperately want to see fixed. On average, U.S. fans said they would be willing to spend an additional $20 for food and beverages if wait times were cut in half. That would reflect a 42 percent increase in the usual amount spent at concessions.

Alamo Drafthouse has created a special PSA asking people to refrain from doing any hunting once in auditoriums even as it welcomes gamers to play in lobbies and sip off-menu Pokémon Go cocktails. The upscale Alamo Drafthouse Cinema chain is nothing if not hip to changing times. So when Pokémon Go launched on July 6, it took only a day or two for the Austin, Texas-based chain to embrace the fervor and happily encourage patrons to play the mobile game in its lobbies, even creating special cocktails.

It's hard to think of a more all-American snack than the humble hot dog. Alongside the best burgers in America as well as our best fried chicken and best BBQ, franks are one of the most representative foods of the red, white and blue. It should come as no surprise, then, that most corners of the country are crowded with top-quality spots that make choosing America's best hot dogs a challenge: from simple-but-satisfying griddled links with a simple swipe of mustard to custom-made wild game sausages loaded with house-pickled vegetables, hot dog aficionados from Seattle to New York can find satisfaction.

The most important piece of paper between you and the job applicant is the employment application. Yet it is such a routine document that we often overlook how vital it is. This form not only helps us make the best hiring decisions, it is also a vital, legal record-keeping tool that can keep you out of hot water. More importantly, employment applications are far and away the best way to collect the information you want and need to know about each and every applicant.
