YOUR SMART SUMMER STARTS NOW!
The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth was founded in 1979 to challenge insatiable learners, curious kids who never stop asking questions and searching for answers about how the world works.
CTY offers full-day and residential experiences to challenge kids when school is out. Our engaging three-week courses for students in grades 2-12 are offered at two dozen sites in the U.S. and Hong Kong. At CTY, bright kids become part
of a community of learners from around the world and feel like they belong.
At CTY, you’ll find such summer courses as:
- Numbers: Zero to Infinity
- Writing and Imagination
- Introduction to the Biomedical Sciences
- Introduction to Logic
- Macroeconomics and the Global Economy
“At school I was sometimes bullied because of my academic achievement. CTY made me realize it’s okay to be smart. I learned about so many new things. I could have conversations with other kids about science and they didn’t look at me like I had 10 heads. Here, I can be myself.”
—Joshua, CTY student
CTY also offers year-round challenging online courses in mathematics, science, computer science, world languages, critical reading, and writing, all taught by expert instructors and extending from elementary to college-level. Enroll your
