Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies selects the finest students from around the world to come to Stanford for an amazing summer experience.

Our programs offer highly motivated, intellectually curious students the opportunity to investigate topics not typically taught in high school. Students engage in small classes with instructors who are experts in their fields and passionate about teaching. Past students have frequently described their experience on the Stanford campus as life-changing. Limited financial aid is available.

Stanford Summer Arts Institute (Grades 9–11)
Students come together for a three-week intensive arts program offering academically challenging, interdisciplinary courses in design, music, and architecture.

Stanford Summer Humanities Institute (Grades 10–11)
A three-week residential program where students explore the big questions at the heart of the humanities in seminars led by distinguished Stanford professors.

Stanford Pre-Collegiate Summer Institutes (Grades 8–11)
A three-week summer residential program where students engage in single-subject intensive study and benefit from small class sizes and academically-themed residences.

Stanford AI4ALL (Grade 9)
(Previously Artificial Intelligence Laboratory’s Outreach Summer Program)
Each summer, the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory opens its lab doors with a summer program aimed at increasing the number of women in science.

Stanford University Mathematics Camp (SUMaC) (Grades 10–11)
SUMaC welcomes an elite group of talented high shcool students from around the world for intensive study in advanced mathematics.

Stanford Pre-Collegiate University-Level Online Math & Physics (Grades 9–12)
Earn Stanford Continuing Studies credit. 13 courses are offered throughout the year to give students the opportunity to take an advanced offering of math and physics courses not typically available in secondary schools.
