As part of NARI’s ongoing efforts to develop new programs and support our lobbyists in Washington, it is critically important that we understand the nature of our remodeling member's businesses. On Jan. 30 you should have received an email invitation from David Merrick, MCR, UDCP and Chair of NARI’s Strategic Planning and Research Committee and Consumer Specialists asking you to complete a survey to help us, and others, understand trends and changes in the industry and how you operate your business. Let your voice be heard and complete the survey by Feb. 12. Your feedback will drive development of NARI programs and NARI’s legislative agenda for the coming years. Questions? Please contact Rachel Rusch, Director of Member Relations and Strategy at rrusch@nari.org.

As 2017 gets going, it’s a good time to take inventory of your organization and assess any gaps in talent. The companies that master the labor will be the winners.
Mastering the labor doesn’t just pertain to tradespeople; it also includes the leadership talent that will take your business to the next level. Mastering the labor means having “A” players today that can then become the “A-plus” players of the future.
