The physical, in-person portion of the 2020 Remodeling Show has been cancelled, says the show’s organizer, Informa Markets. The event, which had been scheduled for Oct. 13-15 at the Baltimore Convention Center, will now be “reimagined” as a virtual event on those dates. Meanwhile, Informa Markets announced the Deck Expo portion of the show will be merged with the International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo, which is scheduled for Nov. 8-13 in Las Vegas.

Spot is not the first robot to make it into a construction jobsite. We've reported on several, including the popular bricklaying bot Sam100, which has a list price of $500,000. But spot is unique in that it was developed to be customizable in its applications.
