There’s almost no task a remodeler can undertake that doesn’t generate dust, and there are many commonplace tasks — for example, demolition, drywall cutting, and sanding — that produce copious amounts of the stuff. Most remodelers put up makeshift “tents” using poly and painter’s tape in a halfhearted effort to keep dust from spreading throughout the house.
